It’s been more than 600 days since anybody has been able to buy the T-800 Terminator or Sarah Conner skins in Fortnite, but it looks like they’re finally coming back very soon.
Fortnite dataminers like FireMonkey and FNAssist have reported that the Future War item shop tab has been added back into the rotation of shop tabs that can be displayed. Though there are exceptions, a tab being re-added generally indicates it will appear in the shop within the next few weeks. It could be tomorrow, it could be two weeks from now, or it could be anywhere in between.
The last time you could buy Fortnite’s Terminator cosmetics in the item shop was March 23, 2021–they originally were released two months earlier on January 22. Among the cosmetics is a T-800 Terminator, skeleton-style, an…
The achievements for the Grand Theft Auto Trilogy: The Definition Edition have allegedly leaked and they seem to contain a few references to old GTA secrets and memes. The list, which was data mined from Rockstar’s PC launcher, contains the type of achievements you would normally expect, like completing missions and amassing a ton of money, but a few achievements seem to be references.
As reported by Kotaku, all three achievement lists were shared on GTA Forums by user alloc8or, complete with both the achievement names and descriptions. The GTA San Andreas list includes two meme references, one of which originated in San Andreas. One of the achievements is titled “…Here we go again” which is a reference to the meme of C.J. saying the line in GTA San Andreas. The achiev…

Actor Robert De Niro sustained a leg injury while he was in Oklahoma filming the new Martin Scorsese movie Killers of the Flower Moon, Deadline confirmed. He is now headed back home to New York City to seek out medical attention, the report said.
The injury did not happen during production of the movie, and he was already scheduled to fly back to New York on Thursday. As a result, production is not expected to be delayed on Killers of the Flower Moon, which is a massive $200 million undertaking.
There is no word yet on what caused De Niro’s leg injury or how serious it may be.
De Niro plays one of the main roles in Killers of the Flower Moon, as he’s portraying William Hale, a convicted murderer in the killing of Osage Nation people. He stars in the film alongside Leon…
A new update for the Xbox App on Windows PCs introduces new functionality that allows users to stream console games from their home console or the cloud.
In its announcement, Microsoft said this might be useful if someone else in your home is using the TV or if you’re traveling somewhere and don’t have your Xbox. In a nod toward Microsoft’s longer-term vision, the company said this solution is also aimed at people who don’t have an Xbox–or don’t want one–but still want to play Xbox games. This new streaming solution allows people to play Xbox games without an Xbox, and that’s part of Microsoft’s long-term plan to reach 2 billion gamers.
The latest Xbox App update for Windows 10 PCs allows users to play Xbox Game Pass titles from the cloud and play games that are on their l…

Actor Bernard Hill, who played King Theoden in Peter Jackson’s The Lord of the Rings film series, has bashed Amazon’s The Rings of Power series, calling it a “money-making venture.”
Speaking to Metro, Hill started off by confirming he has not seen the show. “No, not interested,” the 77-year-old actor said. Hill went on to say that The Rings of Power is a “money-making venture and I’m not interested in watching that or being in it.”
He added: “Good luck to them and all that stuff but it’s not like the real thing.”
Hill went on to say he would have preferred for the the series to end after Peter Jackson’s trilogy. When Jackson came back to make The Hobbit into a trilogy, that was “pushing it,” Hill said.
Hill turned in a memorable performance as King Theoden in The…
His name is Harkyn. He exits conversation not with a goodbye, but with a gruff “I don’t care,” as if he can barely be bothered to embark on the quest at hand. Harkyn may not be delighted by the adventure he’s been thrust into, but I can claim no such apathy: Lords of the Fallen is a dark-fantasy pleasure, cut from the same cloth as Dark Souls, yet distinct enough to earn its own spotlight and, perhaps, to earn your affection as well. Harkyn himself is not easy to love, but ultimately, he doesn’t matter as much as the world he serves and the hammers he swings.
“World” might be too generous a word, actually: You spend most of your time in corridors and combat arenas, not gazing onto spacious landscapes. Lords of the Fallen’s dramatic citadel and hushed monastery are suffering from t…
A GameStop employee was reportedly fired after posting about The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom Nintendo Switch OLED system before its announcement. The now-former employee leaked details of the special edition system just before Nintendo officially announced it on March 28.
According to a Kotaku report, the now-former employee, Mike (who requested the publication not use his last name), was initially suspended for leaking the Zelda Switch early, before being terminated. When Mike went to work on April 11, he was terminated by the store manager who he claims said “off the record” that Nintendo requested the leaker be fired.

After a long period of secrecy, we’re finally getting more juicy details about Amazon’s ambitious Lord of the Rings: Rings of Power. Most recently, a Fandom feature has revealed more about Celebrimbor, the elf who forged three of the titular rings of power, including two new character photos.
Celebrimbor was first revealed earlier in June, and now actor Charles Edwards has given more details on the series’ take on the mysterious character.
“What we are spoiled with in this enterprise, particularly in my case, is that Celebrimbor is mentioned in The Lord of the Rings as the forger of the Rings–briefly,” Edwards said, explaining the freedom the production had in adapting his character. “He’s not a footnote, but he’s a sidenote. The other source for our shows is the appendices…
